Mammillaria lewisiana occurs in the central peninsula.

Crystalline ice plant (Mesembryanthemum crystallinum) is an exotic species native to South Africa. It is a serious weed in coastal areas, but at Cerro Colorado it grows (so far?) only on the road shoulder.

Cylindropuntia alcahes is common and widespread in the central and southern peninsula. There are many different forms.

Grusonia invicta is common in the southern 2/3 of the peninsula. It is well-named: the epithet means "invincible".

Cylindropuntia lindsayi X alcahes is one of 4 hybrid chollas we found.

Cylindropuntia molesta is common in the central peninsula. This is not one of the prettier forms, but the species is well-named.

The Opuntia tapona on Cerro Colorado is 100 miles north of its previously known range.

Cardón (Pachycereus pringlei) is abundant in most of the peninsula and on the mainland as well.

Pedilanthus macrocarpus is common and widespread on the peninsula, and also occurs on the mainland.
