Wildflowers in bloom early December 2003


Blazing star (Mentzelia multiflora)

Sand verbena (Abronia villosa) , fragrant

Dune locoweed (Astragalus magdalenae)

Evening primrose (Camissonia claviformis)

Spectacle-pod (Dithyrea californica)

Dimorphocarpa pinnatifida has fragrant flowers.

Heliotropium convolvulaceum is also very fragrant.

Dune evening primrose (Oenothera deltoides) is just beginning. Also fragrant.
