Chaperone Guidelines

• Chaperones/Adults must stay with their groups of students/youths at all times.
• Designate a time for your group to meet at the end of your visit. Be sure to tell all chaperones to meet at the picnic area/bus loading zone if traveling together in a bus or vans.
• Stay on designated paths. Walk, do not run.
• Please leave the plants for others to enjoy (remember, many have spines and stickers!)
• Do not feed animals in exhibits or visiting critters such as squirrels, coyotes, etc.
• Food: snacks and lunches are allowed only in the picnic area and food must remain in vehicles until ready to dine. 14 picnic tables next to the bus loading zone are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Water bottles are permitted on the grounds.
• Please respect the plants and animals and be considerate of other visitors.
