Buffalo Exchange Earth Day Sale to Benefit Desert Museum

Buffalo Exchange and the Desert Museum are teaming up to help pollinators!

All proceeds from Buffalo Exchange's 2014 Earth Day Dollar Sale on Saturday, April 19, 2014 will benefit the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. The Sale draws specific attention to the preservation of plant pollinators through the Museum's "Pollination Hotspots" program. Across the Sonoran Desert, humans are changing the distribution of surface water, an essential resource for survival in the desert. As natural springs and riparian areas dry up, artificial water sources become more abundant. Will pollinators relocate along with the water? Through a citizen science seed-counting effort, we aim to identify and study areas with high pollinator numbers to determine what's occurring in this ever-changing landscape.

You can help! Shop the dollar sale for great fashion at your local Buffalo Exchange on April 19, 2014 and help the Museum continue the Pollination Hotspots program.
