Warden Oasis Theater

The Warden Oasis Theater, like the Baldwin Building, has been long-anticipated as an indoor facility with seating for approximately 300 guests. It too, is a state-of-the-art multi-use facility that can accommodate lecture, music and theater productions, film and live animal presentations. The lobby of the Theater opens to the Duncan Taylor Plaza, allowing guests an easy flow between indoor and outdoor venues. A special feature of this building is a collection of three paintings, by wildlife artist Edward Aldrich, of George L. Mountain Lion (the Desert Museum's official mascot), which hang in the lobby. This building was provided to the Museum through the generosity of the Bert W. Martin Foundation (the Warden family foundation) and the citizens of Pima County, through a recent bond election initiative.
