Duncan Taylor Plaza
Duncan Taylor Plaza was gifted to the Museum as an important outdoor element to the Museum's new education complex. This beautiful area is in memory of Duncan Taylor, a long-time supporter of the Museum. This new patio and garden feature links the new facilities with the existing Museum campus, and offers an additional outdoor venue for gatherings and functions. Its close interface with the Baldwin Education Building and the Warden Oasis Theater, serves as an extension of both buildings, as well as a natural connection between the two facilities. A special feature of the plaza is an old-growth Ironwood Tree, which was recently recognized with a national hero of horticulture designation.
