Time: 9:30-12:00

Organization: Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
Description: The Dharma Vista Zen Center on the road to Three Points has been battling a stinknet infestation for several years and has asked the stinknet working group for help to do a last round of pulling before the plants set seed. It would also be useful if we are able to map the extent of the stinknet in the area (polygons?). The location has limited parking so we are asking for a smaller group of volunteers. We will be meeting at Mission and Ajo at 9am to carpool over.
Meeting Location: 9:00am at parking lot of Food City Supermarket on NE corner of S Mission Rd and W Ajo Way.
Event location: 1740 W Ajo Wy, Tucson, AZ 85713
Volunteers: 4 registered out of a total capacity of 6
Tools Provided: Hula hoes, buckets, dandelion picks, contractor trash bags, gloves
Bring: Drinking water, sunscreen, your favorite stinknet tool (if you have one), a face mask if you are sensitive to stinknet
Wear: Loose clothes for gardening, closed shoes, brimmed hat
Additional Information: We will also be helping to map the stinknet in this location. I will be using EDDmapS to draw polygons. Reach out if you want help to install it on your phone.
