Nesting Sites:
 Small stick nest built by both male and female in a small bush, tree or cactus 3-15 feet off the ground.
Common Prey:
 Varies: insects, reptiles, young birds. They also take advantage of plants when necessary, usually during the winter months.
Predators:
 Hawks and coyotes. Snakes can prey on eggs from the nests.
Comments:
 Have a large patch of black skin on their back that they expose to sunlight to help regulate body temperature.
