Exhibits: Riparian Corridor
This exhibit is a burbling, shady respite near the middle of the Desert Museum
grounds. It serves as a reminder that a stream is one of the most precious things
you can find in a desert. Looking for a treat? Here's where you'll find the Cottonwood
cafe for ice cream and refreshments.
Currently on exhibit in the Riparian Corridor area:
River Otters
Bighorn Sheep
Coatis (also called coatimundis)
Beavers
Aquatic Invertebrates
Bird of Prey, Macaws and Parrots (in circular enclosures)
Desert Toad lifecycle installation
