Organization: Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
Description: We will hike cross-country and up a canyon about a mile to arrive at our site. We will be working in the sun, often on rocky slopes.
Meeting Location: Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. We will meet in the breezeway of the Education Annex Building. It takes about half an hour to drive from downtown to the museum.

Tools Provided: We have rock hammers, digging bars and gloves, but if you have your own bring them and let the leader know ahead of time.
Bring: Bring a full refillable water bottle (FULL) and a snack or lunch. We strongly encourage the use of non-disposable water bottles as a pro-environmental measure.
Wear: Wear good hiking shoes, long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
Additional Information: If lost, contact Sonya Norman at 971-9335 on the day of the hike. Cell reception is spotty once we begin hiking. All that attend will receive a sticker. Plus, we will have home-baked cookies!

Organization: Catalina State Park Buffel Slayers
Description: This is our last buffelgrass dig of the spring season; let's make it a productive one! We will likely enjoy mariposa lilies, brittlebush and other flowering shrubs and hedgehog cactus blooming. We will choose our exact worksite by the number of volunteers and the temperature.
Meeting Location: When: Sat. April 4th, 8-12 noon Where: Equestrian Center parking lot. Park on left side by horse corrals and then meet at the trailhead picnic tables. Wear: Sturdy shoes, long pants, hats, sunscreen Bring: 2 liters of water, snacks Extra: We supply gloves and tools. Win a baby saguaro in our raffle! Get stickers!

Bring: 2 liters of water, a snack
Wear: Long pants, long sleeved shirt, hat, sturdy shoes or boots
Additional Information: If you find that your schedule has changed, please let me know so that I can adjust the number of tools. We cannot wait for late-comers, but you are free to leave early if you cannot stay the entire time.
