Realistic Watercolor Landscapes: Rocks, Cactus & Mountains - Lori Woodward, Instructor
On the first morning, students will explore visual essentials from life: how color changes from light to shadow, and relative values—while walking around the grounds at the museum. The remainder of the class will be held in the studio, beginning with thumbnail sketches, massing values, and planning color harmonies. From there, students will develop a final, detailed watercolor painting. Daily demonstrations, with ample individual attention will be provided.
