Member's Services Greeter

Volunteer Description:
Volunteers in this position are stationed on the front patio near the Membership Window. Duties include (but are not limited to): greeting Members and their guests as they approach the window, admitting members and guests by scanning membership cards and collecting guest passes.

Volunteering with the Membership department is a great way to meet and help museum guests. By having one-on-one interactions, you'll have the chance to share your excitement for the Museum while helping answer fun facts about the benefits of a Desert Museum membership!
Requirements:
Applicants must be able to make at least a 3-6 month commitment, volunteering once a week between the hours of 9:00am-2:00pm. This position corresponds with the Desert Museum's busy season (which is between the months of October-May). Applicant should have the ability to read written membership information as well as information on a computer screen. Volunteers in this position are required to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Members, customers, and the general public.
